We had the pleasure of welcoming three distinguished guests to our most recent Business Club event as we

commemorate the 30th anniversary of our Premier League title victory. They were instrumental in that success.

Championship winners Colin Hendry and Kevin Gallacher, as well as former Chairman Rob Coar, reflected on

Rovers’ historic accomplishment thirty years ago at our fourth event of the season.

The three spoke about Rovers’ incredible transformation from Second Division losers to English champions in a

matter of years during a Q&A session in the Red Rose Suite prior to the home match against Coventry City.

Additionally, the event explored how football has evolved as a business over the past 30 years, with discussions

around strategies for businesses to better prepare for the future.

Business Club members, including WorkSmart Wellbeing, also delivered an informative session.

A Q&A with senior club officials Steve Waggott, Rudy Gestede, and Adam Owen, a communications-themed event at

The Deaf Village, and a preseason kit launch event with players from the men’s and women’s teams were among the

previous Business Club activities this season.
