Latest predicted Championship table lands with West Brom, Leeds United and Sunderland promotion result

With Leeds United, Sheffield United, Burnley, and Sunderland all vying for the championship title, the competition is intensifying. The final two spots in the playoffs are then occupied by West Brom and Blackburn Rovers.

After Carlos Corberan left for Valencia, the Baggies recently hired Tony Mowbray as their new manager. He is hoping to lead the Midlands team back to the Premier League during his second stint at The Hawthorns.

Middlesbrough, Watford, Bristol City, Sheffield Wednesday, Norwich City, and QPR are among the teams pursuing West Brom. They fell to eventual winners Southampton over two legs in the semi-finals last year, despite finishing in the top six.

Plymouth Argyle has had a difficult season and is currently at the bottom of the standings. After that, Luton Town and Portsmouth join them in the drop zone.

Oxford United, Millwall, Preston North End, Derby County, Stoke City, Hull City, and Cardiff City are all keeping an eye on the bottom three. Second-tier clubs have until the conclusion of the January transfer window to add extra players to their roster.

In the second half of this season, West Brom is well-positioned to make a big run for it. In the weeks leading up to the deadline on February 3rd, they have the opportunity to bolster their ranks with more quality.

Mowbray is a seasoned manager who excels at bringing out the best in young players for the Baggies. The Midlands team has to be a little more merciless at the top of the field, but they are strong defensively.

“It’s humbling the reception I’ve had,” Mowbray remarked after rejoining West Brom. I truly don’t think I deserve some of what I’ve seen, heard, and read, but now that I’m back at work, my one goal is to get this club back on track. And all of this may have increased my appetite even further. From me, I can feel it bouncing.
