Arboretum and Alexandra Tavern named among best in Europe
A prominent guide has listed two locations in Norwich as some of the greatest in Europe.
The European Bar Guide’s list of the top 100 pubs in Europe for 2025 includes Arboretum on St Benedicts Street and The Alexandra Tavern on Stafford Street.
The list, which was made public at the beginning of the year, includes establishments that the guide’s founders visited across the continent.
The 70th-best pub in Europe was the Alexandra Tavern. The Alexandra Tavern is in 70th place, while Arboretum is in 82nd place.
“We are extremely proud to say that we have been listed in the Top 100 Bars in Europe!” Arboretum posted on social media in response to the news.
