TBR Football is now aware of the circumstances surrounding Loic Bade, the No. 22 for Sevilla and Aston Villa.
Aston Villa was reportedly in advanced negotiations to sign Bade for £30 million on Monday, according to sources, following positive discussions with the Frenchman’s representation.
To make room for the 24-year-old, Aston Villa has even approved the £10 million transfer of Diego Carlos to Fenerbahce.
But now, TBR Football has learned something about Loic Bade that may not sit well with Aston Villa supporters.

TBR Football Chief Correspondent Graeme Bailey has now been informed that Aston Villa is prepared to back out of this agreement.
We know that just as negotiations were progressing, Bade made the decision not to return to the Premier League, where he briefly played on loan at Nottingham Forest during the 2022–2023 season.
After the central defender decided to remain in Spain, Aston Villa will now try to advance with other targets, according to sources who spoke to TBR Football.
Additionally, during negotiations with the Villans, Sevilla is rumored to have asked about Aston Villa No. 26 Lamare Bogarde; Championship teams are also contacting the Villans, but Unai Emery is eager to keep the Dutchman at Villa Park.
This season, the 21-year-old has already made three Premier League starts.
Chelsea’s number two There is interest in Axel Disasi.
Given that Bade chose to stay at Sevilla, it is unclear who Aston Villa will choose to replace him.
However, TBR Football was informed that Aston Villa questioned Chelsea about Axel Disasi before negotiations with Sevilla began to move further since the Blues were eager to let go of the France international.
Although the Chelsea No. 2 is a player of interest at Villa Park, it is unclear if Aston Villa will give the Frenchman another chance following what transpired with Bade.
