Stoke City have signed left-back Josh Wilson-Esbrand on a season-long loan from Manchester City.
The 22-year-old is reunited with Potters manager Mark Robins, having previously played 14 games for Coventry on loan in 2022-23.
Wilson-Esbrand made his Manchester City senior debut in a 6-1 League Cup win over Wycombe Wanderers in September 2021, and the following season, he appeared twice as a substitute in the Champions League.
“Josh brings all the physical attributes needed to be a real asset at both ends of the pitch,” said Stoke sporting director Jon Walters.
“With Championship experience and having previously been part of a successful team under Mark, Josh is well prepared to make a significant impact in a Stoke City shirt.”
The former England youth international might make his debut on Saturday at home against Oxford United, who are now managed by former Stoke manager Gary Rowett.
