Southampton reportedly place large price tag on Dibling amid interest

Dibling has most recently been linked with Bundesliga team RB Leipzig and Premier League side Tottenham but Southampton are not expected to sanction a trade this month.

The 18-year-old will likely be sidelined for at least another month due to an ankle injury he experienced against Manchester United.

Ivan Juric recently stated that Dibling would be better off staying at Southampton and that regular playing is the most crucial thing for young players.

According to Sky Sports, clubs will have to spend a minimum of £55 million in order to recruit the Saints academy graduate come summertime.

Saints starlet Tyler Dibling has scored two Premier League goals

After being relegated at the end of the 2022–2023 season, Southampton received £58 million for the sale of Belgian midfielder Romeo Lavia to Chelsea.

The England under-21 international has reportedly drawn interest from Aston Villa, Chelsea, and Newcastle United.

It should come as no surprise that Dibling is drawing interest from a number of elite teams after having a fantastic Premier League season.

Before this season, the teenager had only made one league appearance, but he has since emerged as one of Southampton’s key players.

Before getting hurt against Manchester United, he had scored three goals in four games, including his first brace of the season against Swansea City in the FA Cup.
