Predicted Leeds United XI to face Norwich City on Wednesday night as Daniel Farke makes two changes

After more than three years as manager of Leeds United, Daniel Farke is still undefeated since taking over against

the Canaries. Leeds played Norwich four times in the previous season.

Leeds won both games during the first Championship season, drew the first leg of the play-off semi-final, and then

won the second leg 4-0. Leeds drew 1-1 at Carrow Road in October of this season.

Now, Leeds will hope to follow Sheffield United’s example and secure three points against Norwich. Chris Wilder’s

men beat Norwich 2-0 over the weekend, with Harrison Burrows scoring both goals for The Blades.

Daniel Farke could be without four key players against Norwich

For Wednesday night’s match against Norwich, Pascal Struijk and Patrick Bamford will remain out due to

hamstring injuries, but Farke has stated that Brenden Aaronson and Manor Solomon may not play. Aaronson

sustained an ankle knock against Sheffield Wednesday, but he played until the 90th minute of the 3-0 victory, and

Farke seemed confident that he would be able to recover. Farke was less certain about Manor Solomon, who has

complained of another hamstring injury, saying that he is 50-50 to be fit for the match and that it is unlikely that

he will be risked.

Two changes as Manor Solomon and Sam Byram drop out of XI

Aaronson’s lack of natural cover at Leeds means that even if he is just 80% fit, he will probably continue to start.

However, Larry Ramazani undoubtedly steps in after coming off the bench to score and assist on Sunday.

Next Monday’s big match against Burnley may need rotation even if Solomon is well. Ramazani is therefore

expected to replace Solomon, and Junior Firpo may eventually return to left-back.

Despite Byram’s recent form, he is rarely healthy enough to play more than once a week, so this could be the ideal

opportunity to start Firpo.Recently, Stuart Dallas called Byram “Mr. Reliable,” but he needs a break.
