With only a few weeks remaining in the January transfer season, it is anticipated that the flurry of activity will

intensify as the February 3rd Deadline Day draws nearer.

In order to weather this storm and make sure their objectives are reached by the end of the 2024–2025 season,

several Premier League teams will be searching for some reinforcements as the number of games increases and

injuries start to take their toll.

Wolves have only bought one player this January, central defender Emmanuel Agbadou, who came for a reported

£16.6 million earlier this month. Other than that, the transfer market has been quite quiet.

The only players leaving are young players Jimmy Storer and Fletcher Holman, who are moving on loan to Chester

and Solihull Moors, respectively.

Rayan Ait-Nouri is the most recent player to be predicted to depart in January, however transfer rumors are still

circulating that link other members of Wolves’ first team to moves elsewhere.

Ait-Nouri is the target of Manchester United, according to a recent report from Caught Offside. The 23-year-old’s

spectacular performances continue to draw attention in the Premier League and beyond. According to the report,

the Red Devils have “given up” on Nuno Mendes of Paris Saint-German, their main goal, and are now

concentrating on Wolves’ star player.

Given that Vitor Pereira’s team is now involved in a very competitive relegation battle with teams like Ipswich

Town, Everton, and Leicester City, the source asserts that Wolves are not at all interested in letting the Algerian

international depart Molineux this month.

According to reports, Wolves may need to submit an offer as high as £51 million in order to contemplate selling

the former Angers young player, which would result in a £40 million profit for them over what they paid for the

defender in 2021.

Interestingly, the source goes on to say that in an effort to pay a cheaper transfer price for Ait-Nouri, United might

give Wolves either England international Luke Shaw or Tyrell Malacia in exchange for a player-plus-cash offer.

Since Ait-Nouri’s contract is now set to expire in the summer of 2026, his resale worth will continue to decline
