Road reopens following six-vehicle crash

After a six-vehicle crash, a busy route has been reopened.

At around 7:30 GMT, Norfolk Police had blocked the westbound carriageway of the A47 between the A146 for

Norwich and the A140 for Dunston.

Six individuals were transported to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for additional care, according to the

East of England Ambulance Service.

According to National Highways, the road has reopened on X, and although there are still significant delays, they

should start to decrease.

Five ambulances, two ambulance officer vehicles, one fast response vehicle, and a community first responder were
dispatched to the area after the East of England Ambulance Service reported receiving a call at 07:32 in Arminghall.

The Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service also responded and reported that it assisted in releasing those who were

trapped in cars that were involved in the collision.
