B B C Sports: Ipswich Town: Jamie Mauge joins Bury Town on loan.

Jamie Mauge, an Ipswich Town youngster, has joined Suffolk non-league side Bury Town on a month’s work experience loan. The 17-year-old forward has been with Town since the summer of 2020, having joined from Needham Market’s development setup as an U15. Mauge has played regularly for the Blues’ U18s and U21s this season. He now joins former Town midfielder Cole Skuse’s side, which is presently second in the Isthmian League North Division on goal difference behind Felixstowe and Walton United.

On Tuesday, the academy player got his Bury debut, playing the final half hour of their 4-1 defeat at Brentwood Town. Mauge is the son of Ronnie, a former footballer who represented Fulham, Bury, Plymouth Argyle, and Bristol Rovers. He also represented Trinidad & Tobago at the senior level.
