Ipswich Town is pleased to announce the permanent signing of Jaden Philogene from Aston Villa. The 22-year-old winger, who has made 11 appearances in the Premier League this season, has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract at Portman Road. A product of the Villa youth system, Jaden had loan stints at Stoke City and Cardiff City before joining Hull City permanently in the summer of 2023. He had a successful season with the Tigers, scoring 12 goals in 32 league games. In July 2024, he returned to Aston Villa, and in October, he made his Champions League debut, starting against Bayern Munich at Villa Park.
Along with new Town teammates Liam Delap and Omari Hutchinson, Jaden has also scored three goals and earned seven caps for the England U21 team.
Jaden said on the Club website, “I’m thrilled to be here and I know there are great players in the squad.”
All I want to do is play as much as I can. I enjoy dribbling, linking up plays, and contributing goals and assists as a player. I am eagerly anticipating it.
