Mark Robins, who previously signed the player for Coventry City, is reportedly considering a reunion at the Bet365 Stadium.

His move to Coventry City hasn’t gone as planned, as he has struggled to find his shooting boots.

They hijacked his proposed transfer to Hull City in the last window to grab him.

According to BBC Sport, Robins described Brandon as a powerful and pacy forward with proven goalscoring ability, a positive mentality, and a hard work ethic. He can play anywhere around the front line, which will improve our attacking options.”

Thomas-Asante, who was West Brom’s leading scorer with 12 goals in the previous season, now plays for Sky Blues.

The Ghanaian international joined The Hawthorns in 2022 and scored nine goals in his debut year. He has one cap.

He previously represented MK Dons and Salford City.

What now?

Thomas-Asante’s performance at Coventry City has been unsatisfactory, thus a change of scenery could be beneficial.

Frank Lampard has a crucial decision to make: keep him or let him go.

Stoke City are interested in signing him, but could face competition from Blackburn Rovers.
