Coventry star ‘to boost Leeds starting XI’ amid £8m transfer news

Leeds United News reports that Daniel Farke’s team is prepared to make a proposal for the 26-year-old midfield player, and the Sky Blues are open to hearing bids in order to meet their budgetary needs. Leeds’ Championship opponents are reportedly considering offers over £8 million this month, while several Premier League teams are also monitoring the player’s status.

Robinson stated in an exclusive interview with MOT Leeds News: “He’s a good player.” is 26 years old, a regular player with Coventry, and a graduate of Arsenal’s academy. A deal could be completed if someone takes advantage of Coventry’s financial circumstances. Before securing a permanent contract, he had loans at Stevenage, Doncaster, and Coventry. In the previous two or three years, he has, in my opinion, performed quite well, playing for the England Under-18s on an international level.

Ben Sheaf of Coventry City to join Leeds United?

Would he make the team better? He would, indeed. Would you be able to come in each week? He might be placed in, one could argue. The squad would undoubtedly benefit from having a player like him, but I don’t believe there is much of a rush. Since Joe Rothwell, Ilia Gruev, Ethan Ampadu, and Ao Tanaka are all healthy and available, Farke doesn’t need to add a midfield player before the winter transfer window closes.

The Whites cannot reject the £8 million bid for the midfield player, who has made 132 appearances for the Sky Blues since committing to the team permanently in 2021. Although it is unclear who Sheaf would replace in Leeds’ starting lineup given Tanaka and Rothwell’s recent impressive performances, Farke would probably be in favor of a transfer for Sheaf.
