Goztepe is reportedly interested in Southampton defender Joachim Kayi Sanda, according to Turkish media. The 18-year-old may be sent out on loan to gain first team experience even though he only recently joined with the Premier League outfit. Days after the teenage defender joined Southampton from Valenciennes FC in France, Ege Telgraf reports on Goztepe’s interest in the player.

According to reports, the Super Lig team is presently in transfer negotiations to sign Kayi Sanda. It is anticipated that the major focus of these talks will be on sending the French youth international to Turkey on loan for the rest of the season. Because Sports Republic owns both Southampton and Goztepe, Saints players have been transferred to the Turkish team.

Kuryu Matsuki was loaned to the Turkish team even though he had only joined with Southampton during the previous transfer window, and Mateusz Lis was signed by Goztepe in the summer after his first loan stint with them the previous season. Prior to joining St. Mary’s last week, Kayi Sanda made 12 appearances for Valenciennes FC this season. He has a deal with the English team through June 2029.
