PHILIPPE CLEMENT has opened up on what he believes was the reason for the Rangers fans walk-out.
The Union Bears followed through on their warning that they would instigate a mass exodus during Rangers’ home game with St Johnstone this afternoon.
As promised, the ultras group all left their seats at the front of the Copland Stand in the 55th minute – just after Saints scored to complete the scoring on the day.
Some fans in other stands also elected to leave at that point in protest at the Rangers board’s running of the club.
But the majority of supporters stayed in their seats – and loudly booed those who had chosen to vote with their feet.
