Largie Ramazani outlines personal aim after great Leeds United boost with declaration on game
Largie Ramazani scored his first goal since October in the weekend’s triumph over Harrogate Town.
Whites hero Largie Ramazani has stated his next ambitions, fresh after a fantastic Leeds United boost.
Ramazani was given only his second start since fracturing his ankle in October’s triumph at home to Watford when included in Daniel Farke’s XI for Saturday evening’s third round FA Cup tie at home to Harrogate Town.
Prior to his injury, Ramazani had netted three goals and one assist in his first eight appearances for his new team, the winger instantly excelling after his summer arrival from Almeria.
Speaking post-match to LUTV, Ramazani confessed the goal will function as a big boost to his confidence as he proclaimed his next ambitions both himself and for the team.
The 23-year-old Belgian winger also complimented Solomon for setting up his opportunity – headed home by one of the tiniest players on the field who said he had great faith in his own heading skills.
“Honestly it feels amazing to be back on the field and to earn a goal,” added Ramazani.
“In front of the fans and helping the team and just building my confidence really and getting back to the form I was at before.
“Obviously it builds my confidence. It was a hard moment for me with the injury, I’m just trying to get my confidence back and back to the form that I was at before my injury and hopefully I can just keep going and supporting the team.”
Talking about his goal, Ramazani said: “Honestly, as soon as I have seen Manor on the ball, I just know he is going to beat his guy, it’s a question of let me get in the area and he picked me out brilliantly.
“The ball came so sluggish I thought ‘I have to head this’ and to be honest I am a decent header of the ball, I just haven’t had a lot of opportunities to head the ball!”
