Ahmad Ghali breaks silence on transfer links to Lampard’s Coventry and Kieran’s Ipswich.

According to Soccernet.ng, Slovan Liberec midfielder Ahmad Ghali has responded to speculation that he could join English clubs Coventry City and Ipswich Town, as well as Serie A side AC Monza.

The former Nigeria U-20 player has sparked the interest of Frank Lampard and McKenna Kieran-led team, who are poised to challenge Italian side, AC Monza, for his signature.

The 24-year-old, who has impressed with two goals and four assists in the Czech first division this season, spoke exclusively to Soccernet.ng. He said that his attention is still on his current squad.

Speaking further, the Kano-born star stated that he is receiving increasing interest from several teams and indicated a great ambition to someday play in one of Europe’s top five leagues: Spain, England, Italy, Germany, and France.

“A lot [of interested clubs] in Czech league and outside,” he informed me. “[I’d like] to be in the top five leagues in the world like Spain , England, Italy, Germany, and France.”

Reflecting on his path, Ghali saw his time at AS Trencin, where he began his European career, as a watershed moment in his development.

“It was a fantastic experience, and I learnt a lot as a player and a person. “I spoke with Kingsley Madu, who gave me a lot of advice,” Ghali recalls.

The young Nigerian also spoke candidly about his journey from grassroots football to where he is today.

“Ahmad Ghali is just a normal and humble guy who started his career from the grassroots,” he told CNN. “I’ve worked hard since the beginning, never giving up, with the objective of being one of the best African footballers. In life, anything is possible if you work hard enough.”

Ghali will look to continue his outstanding form at Slovan Liberec as he strives to play in one of Europe’s top five divisions.
