Watford Yet To Hear Back After Offer
The Hornets aim to sign a new goalkeeper during this month’s transfer window and have decided on who they want to bring to Vicarage Road.
Watford are looking towards Turkey and have made an offer to sign a new goalkeeper.
Watford has approached Turkish giants Besiktas about goalkeeper Ersin Destanoglu, with the Hornets willing to sign him on loan.
In addition, the agreement would include a €1.5 million purchase commitment.
Turkish site Playspor reports that Besiktas has yet to respond to Watford’s offer.
This season, the 24-year-old shot-stopper has made just four appearances for Besiktas, three of which have been in the Europa League, with one clean sheet recorded.
Destanoglu has had to warm the bench in all but one of Besiktas’ Turkish Super Lig games this season.
It is reported that Watford consider him as a number one.
