B B C Sports: Reading FC boss on FA Cup exit and Mbengue injury lay-off.

Reading manager Noel Hunt has stated that defender Amadou Mbengue would miss’six to eight weeks’ with a knee injury. The popular defender missed the New Year’s Day win over Cambridge due to sickness, but returned to play in last week’s 0-0 draw with Charlton Athletic. Hunt, who was absent from today’s FA Cup defeat to Burnley, has stated that he will be out for some time due to a knee injury. “Amadou suffered a knee injury in the Charlton game, which we didn’t find out until Monday; he didn’t feel anything until late Sunday. He was one of the sick ones this week, and when we scanned it, it came up. “He’ll be out for six to eight weeks.”
