Team News: Middlesbrough vs. Blackburn: Seven changes for FA Cup
When Middlesbrough plays Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup third round this afternoon, Michael Carrick has made seven changes to his team.
The four players who started the team that drew with Cardiff City in the league last Saturday are Tom Glover, Anfernee Dijksteel, Dan Barlaser, and Delano Burgzorg.
As Lukas Engel lines up at left-back, George Edmundson and Matt Clarke return to the centre of the back four.
Micah Hamilton will likely start on the right side of midfield, while Law McCabe makes his second start of the season in the centre.
Riley McGree will start on the opposite flank, with Alex Gilbert set to play in the ‘number ten’ role.
Burgzorg is expected to start as the central striker, with Emmanuel Latte Lath on the substitutes’ bench.
