SHREWSBURY TOWN (A) POSTPONED

The game between Shrewsbury Town and Huddersfield Town has been postponed because of the frozen playing field at Croud Meadow. Supporters will be informed when the new date is set.

Due to the playing surface failing a pitch inspection, we have been informed that our Sky Bet League One away match against Shrewsbury Town at Croud Meadow has been postponed.

The surface has been declared unplayable owing to nationwide cold conditions, despite the event being scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, January 11, 2025.

The EFL and Shrewsbury Town officials were present when the decision was made, subject to a pitch inspection this morning, Friday, January 10, 2025.

For this match, the original match tickets will still be valid, and fans will be notified as soon as there are any developments on a new date.

It is recommended that supporters avoid travelling to Shrewsbury this weekend. We hope you stay safe despite the present bad weather.
