At the burial services for former President Jimmy Carter on Thursday, President-elect Trump and former President Obama sat next to each other and engaged in a lengthy cordial conversation.
Obama was seen chuckling at something the incoming president was saying while Trump and Obama were mingling on camera at the Washington National Cathedral. Before the funeral rites started, they seemed to talk for a few minutes.
