Chris Wilder, the manager of Sheffield United, has acknowledged that the team is making “good progress” in the transfer market and expressed hope that more players will be added before the Blades’ upcoming Championship matchup against Norwich City next weekend. Ahead of the season’s final 20 games, Wilder is anxious to strengthen his weakened team.

As we disclosed earlier this month, Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury has been identified as a player of interest in midfield, while Ben Brereton Diaz is still a key target. Talks with targets are still going on ahead of tomorrow night’s FA Cup third-round match against Cardiff City, but the deals aren’t quite at the medical stage yet.
