Newcastle United set to sanction another player’s exit as well as Martin Dubravka
With Martin Dubravka expected to join Al-Shabab, the Magpies are currently concentrating on outgoings during the January transfer window. According to reports in Saudi Arabia, a move from Newcastle United has been finalized, and formal confirmation is imminent. Considering how well Martin Dubravka has performed in recent weeks, it will be hard to see him go. Dubravka has started all seven of the Magpies’ recent victories. However, it appears like the Slovakian’s Toon career is coming to an end seven years after moving to Tyneside.Isaac Hayden is on the verge of going on loan from Newcastle United.
The same is true for another veteran Newcastle United player, Isaac Hayden. According to reports, Newcastle will loan Hayden out this month. He joined the Magpies in 2016. Hayden is expected to join Portsmouth on loan for the remainder of the season, according to BBC Radio Solent Sport, so that now looks to be near.
Hayden has received a directive to depart Newcastle United.
For Hayden, the past few months have been challenging. The 29-year-old has been without competitive football for months after failing to obtain a summer escape from St. James’ Park. Although Hayden has represented Newcastle’s Under-21 team, a player of his skill and experience should be receiving consistent playing time at the senior level.
At the same time, Hayden made his Reggae Boyz debut and declared his international loyalty to Jamaica. Steve McClaren, the former manager of Newcastle United, is in charge of them. Hayden was urged by McClaren to leave Newcastle in January, and it now appears that this will happen. He is currently in route to Portsmouth, where he will play with Matt Ritchie, a former Toon teammate. Pompey are presently 21st in the Championship, struggling to avoid relegation.
