Former Sunderland star will sign stunning new contract worth £120k-a-week ‘today’

Sunderland are about to break the bank to sign Enzo Le Fee on loan from Roma. But his wages are nothing compared to what a former Black Cats star is about to be earning.

Enzo Le Fee to Sunderland looks like an imminent signing. Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the move after a hectic, but exciting few days, with Kyril Louis-Dreyfus really dipping into his pocket to make the move happen

It’s been revealed that Sunderland will pay Le Fee’s Roma wages until June. Per Capology, Le Fee earns £69k-a-week, which will make him by far and away the highest-paid player at the Stadium of Light.

Dan Ballard is the highest-earning Sunderland player on £25k-a-week. But he and the Sunderland players will still be delighted at Le Fee’s imminent arrival, and it of course bolsters the Black Cats’ promotion credentials under Regis Le Bris this season.

And as Sunderland vie for promotion, former player and fan favourite Amad Diallo will have an eye on the Championship, as he signs his new Manchester United contract.
