Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris has been outstanding at giving young players opportunities this season, but one teenage star appears to be fed up with waiting. Regis Le Bris has worked wonders at Sunderland in his first six months in charge, putting the Black Cats in contention for the Championship crown against the odds. We’ve already seen young talent grow under the Frenchman, including Chris Rigg, Jobe Bellingham, and Tommy Watson, and the Sunderland academy has plenty more to give. Harrison Jones is open to a local loan move this month. According to the Sunderland Echo, Harrison Jones could be loaned out in the January transfer window, and the 19-year-old is open to the notion. Jones is believed to have agreed that a temporary move to local clubs such as Hartlepool United or Gateshead would be a good opportunity for him at this time in his career, although clubs further away would still be acceptable if they presented the correct challenge. Jones and his management are eager to get a loan move this month because the teenager is at a vital period of his development; he is the Under-21sThe skipper has been on the first-team bench several times but has yet to make his Championship debut. Jones could sign a loan contract this month, but National League clubs are allowed to make loan deals outside of the typical window, so there may still be time in February for a trade. Pathway is blocked for Harrison Jones right now, but he has a bright future

The difficulty for Jones is that Sunderland’s team is currently stacked with talented midfielders, making it tough for the youngster to play any important minutes this season.
