Former Rangers man shares scary reality for Celtic’s foes and they can blame Glasgow Derby defeat for it
After Celtic lost to Philippe Clement‘s team for the second time in 20 games, Brendan Rodgers’ record against Rangers is still impressive. Rangers drew 3-3 with Hibernian after Celtic defeated St Mirren 3-0 at Parkhead, therefore ending the positive vibes around the derby result for the Ibrox supporters. And after the loss to Rangers claimed former Ibrox midfielder Ian Murray, it appears that things will become worse for the rest of the SPFL when they play Celtic.
Following Rangers’ loss, Celtic is “going to blow teams away again.”
Murray denied that the 14-point difference at the top of the table was the primary cause of Celtic’s defeat at Ibrox, but he did issue a message to the rest of the SPFL by giving his former team credit for the victory.
Murray said, “I don’t think so,” to Off the Ball [14m]. Rangers deserve first credit, in my opinion. However, I believe that when these kinds of outcomes occur, the [Celtic] players and the management bounce back stronger. “I expect Celtic to simply return and they’re going to blow teams away again,” the author said. Going into the second half of the season, I don’t think there will be many changes.
