Despite Celtic return rumours Jota set for big Euro club switch

A few weeks after spending £25 million to join the Saudi Pro League, the former Celtic star and fan favorite was demoted to cup appearances by then-manager Nuno Espirito Santo. Several European teams expressed interest in Jota during the most recent summer transfer window, which is when Rennes acquired the Portuguese winger. The footballer has now been informed that he is surplus to requirements in Ligue 1, only months after relocating to France.
