Premier League club set to make make move for key Sunderland player

One man who has improved a lot under Le Bris is Jobe Bellingham. The midfielder was impressive in his first season but has come on leaps and bounds this campaign and is one of the first names on the Black Cats team sheet.
have sparked interest in Bellingham. According to TBR Football, long-term admirers Crystal Palace are set to make a move for the 19-year-old this window.
Several Premier League sides including Arsenal have been credited with interest in Bellingham, whereas European giants Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid have kept an eye on his progress.
Bellingham was a target for Palace in the summer however a move did not materialise. With the transfer window back upon us though, the Eagles are ready to make a bid to try and prise him away from SAFC.
Bellingham is under contract with Sunderland until the summer of 2028 after signing a new deal in the summer.

Crystal Palace making a move for Sunderland star Bellingham will come as no surprise. Not only have they been regularly linked with the midfielder, but the London club have made a name for themselves in recent years by signing some of the Championship’s best talent.
Ebere Eze and Michael Olise are two names to stand out, while Adam Wharton is the most recent player to make the move.
The Black Cats ace is not the only Championship star Palace have an interest in either. Ben Doak and Romain Esse are also heavily linked with a move to the Premier League side.
What next for SAFC and Bellingham?
After Sunday’s 1-0 win over Portsmouth, Sunderland kept in touch with the top three. The Black Cats are within three points of Leeds United at the top of the pile.
However, attentions turn to the FA Cup now as fellow Championship side Stoke City come to the Stadium of Light this weekend. The two sides have played both fixtures against each other already, ending in a draw a piece. This will be the third game between the two in around a month and in each game, the Potters will have had a different boss.
After a hectic festive period, it will be a chance for SAFC to give the fringe players a chance.
