Leeds readying bid for “versatile” £8m ace club may have no choice to sell

Given Coventry’s current problems and Leeds’ quest for promotion, the midfielder himself may find it impossible to resist leaving the Sky Blues for a move to Elland Road, even as club captain. But it’s unclear if that temptation will be sufficient to complete a winter shift.

“Versatile” Sheaf could take Leeds to promotion

The Whites must first successfully negotiate with the Sky Blues, who will not want to lose one of their key players so early in Frank Lampard’s tenure. Sheaf, a leader at Coventry, has earned the opportunity to lead a team of Leeds’ caliber to the Premier League.
