Adam Armstrong presents shirt to woman who predicted 5-0 loss
A video has earned millions of views on X after a lady won a Saints jersey for predicting a 5-0 hammering over Brentford.
Gaining more than 7 million views on the social networking site, the video revealed the moment a lady was booed while being handed the jersey by a pretty uncomfortable-looking Adam Armstrong in the hospitality suite at St Mary’s.
The mother, who according to her son understands “nothing about football”, won the jersey for predicting that Brentford would humiliate Ivan Juric’s team on Saturday.
Went to the St Mary’s for first time in a while. My mom, who knows nothing about football, predicted the 0-5 defeat then was booed while receiving her reward from Adam Armstrong in the Saints hospitality.
Posted by Hugo Scheckter, a former employee of Southampton FC, he wrote: “Went to the St Mary’s for first time in a while.
“My mum, who knows nothing about football, predicted the 0-5 loss then got booed when collecting her prize from Adam Armstrong in the Saints hospitality.”
Scheckter expressed dismay with the unpleasant comments from certain Southampton supporters online, and stated he playfully initiated the booing of his mom while also claiming he had wonderful experiences and memories from his time working at the club.
