Frank Lampard has made four changes to his Coventry City team to face Norwich at Carrow Road.

When Coventry City plays Norwich City, a team in the middle of the table, at Carrow Road, Frank Lampard has made four changes to his team. On a day when fellow center-halves Bobby Thomas and Joel Latibeaudiere also remain in the squad, Liam Kitching, who was sent off in the same match the previous season, makes his first appearance under the new head coach. Is Lampard going to continue with the back four and use Latibeaudiere as a holding midfielder or at right-back, or is he going to go to a back three?

The Jamaican will be used in midfield with Ben Sheaf and in lieu of Josh Eccles, who drops to the bench, according to the press room consensus. This would leave Milan van Ewijk at right-back and Jake Bidwell at left-back, with the latter still being chosen over Jay Dasilva. In the meanwhile, Ben Wilson remains out due to injury, and Oliver Dovin continues to start in goal ahead of Brad Collins.

Jamie Allen, like Kitching, makes his first start in a long time and appears to be playing the more attacking midfield position, presuming Lampard continues to use a 4-2-3-1 system with Brandon Thomas-Asante on the right in place of Tatsuhiro Sakamoto. Despite suffering an ankle injury on New Year’s Day, the Japanese winger has traveled to Norwich and is listed as a substitute.Ellis Simms, who backs up from the bench, is replaced up top by Norman Bassette, while Jack Rudoni continues to fill in for the injured Ephron Mason-Clark on the left wing.
