Celtic man in demand, megabucks move for Scotland star, Ben Doak price set, Gers exits mooted – transfer news.
Lewis Ferguson, a Scotland international, is expected to make a big move to Inter Milan, a major Italian team, this January. According to sources, the San Siro team is “considering” making a €20 million offer for the Bologna captain. After sustaining an ACL injury in April of last year, the midfield player was left out of Steve Clarke’s Euro 2024 team. However, he has been playing for Bologna again in recent weeks, and his remarkable comeback has led to him being linked to both Juventus and city rivals AC Milan in recent months.
Although the 12-cap Scotland international just recently signed a new contract with Bologna, he was linked to a move to AC Milan last month after being named a top goal by Swedish football legend and club advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Inter has apparently entered the race to sign Ferguson, and the Nerazzurri see him as a possible answer to their midfield dilemma, according to Interista.it.
Former Celtic man released after nightmare stint
After the club ended his challenging time at Club Brugge, former Hoops defender Dedryck Boyata was placed on the free agent list. After losing favor with Blauw-Zwart, the 34-year-old Belgian recently disclosed that he was compelled to train at home away from the first squad. After leaving Hertha Berlin, he initially signed to a three-year contract with Brugge in the summer of 2022. However, he has since been released from his contract early after failing to make an appearance for the first team since November 2023.
