Intriguing £23m Wolves transfer claim made after ‘catastrophic’ decision by Premier League rivals
According to West Ham Zone, Wolves’ Jørgen Strand Larsen was ‘offered’ to Premier League club West Ham during the summer transfer window. However, the Hammers decided not to pursue a move for him, paving the way for his transfer to Molineux.
Strand-Larsen, 24, has settled well in England after moving to the Midlands in July. He is currently on loan from Celta Vigo, but his current club has the option to buy him on permanent basis.
The striker has made 20 appearances in all competitions, 19 of which have been in the league, and he has scored seven goals. Wolves are now 17th in the table and a point behind the bottom three after 19 games. Southampton, Leicester City, and Ipswich Town are below them in the drop zone.
