Tottenham makes an intriguing bid of £37 million to sign a Brighton midfield player.

A 20-year-old who has been a revelation in the Premier League this season is apparently the target of a big offer from Tottenham Hotspur.

While on loan with Leicester City, Facundo Buonanotte has excelled.
Since the young player hadn’t made waves at the Amex Stadium before, Facundo Buonanotte’s summer loan move from Brighton to Leicester City went somewhat unnoticed.
The 20-year-old, who has been a consistent member of the Foxes starting eleven and has four goals and two assists in 16 Premier League games thus far this season, has been able to demonstrate his abilities at the King Power Stadium.

According to recent rumors, the attacking midfielder’s performances this season have not only helped him establish himself with the Argentine national team but have also apparently caught Tottenham’s attention.
Tottenham makes a bid to acquire Facundo Buonanotte.
In support of Tottenham’s interest in Buonanotte, Fichajes has now disclosed that the midfield player matches the description of the type of young player the North London team is looking to sign.

Ange Postecoglou’s team is said to find the young player’s inventiveness and adaptability appealing, viewing it as “an attractive opportunity to close the signing.”

As a sign of their serious interest in the player, the newspaper claims that Spurs have now made the Seagulls an offer of €45 million (£37.3 million) for the Argentine.

The article also notes that the Lilywhites’ offer might not be sufficient to persuade the South Coast club to give up their lucky charm.

There is no truth to this transfer rumor.
The fact that Buonanotte is on loan at Leicester until the summer and that there is no indication of a break provision in the loan agreement is the first of two reasons why this news does not quite add together.

The 20-year-old’s offer from Tottenham is probably going to have to wait until the end of the current campaign.

With James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, and Lucas Bergvall available, Spurs are also well-covered in the offensive midfield area.
