Is that a birdie? Moment magpie attacks golfer and leaves him ‘screaming like a little girl’ in fight on the fairway
A magpie attacked a man on a golf course, leaving him’screaming like a little girl’.
Nick Livings, 36, was playing with his buddies Chris and Alex at Coulsdon Manor Golf Club in south London when a bird started terrorizing the group.
Mr Livings had just fired a shot when the bird came down and perched on his ball.
He tried everything to scare the magpie away, including approaching it and throwing objects to shock it.
The bird first flew away, but it wasn’t over as after he took his next shot, the father of two turned around to see the bird sitting on his golf bag, possibly having been attracted to the’shiny zip’.

Mr Livings said he shared the film to his family and friends, who thought it was hilarious, even if it didn’t show him in the’manliest’ light.
He continued, “I’ve shown it to a few people, and there’s a lot of laughter–mainly because of my high-pitched reaction.”
‘It does not portray me in the most macho of light! I was assaulted by a tiny little bird as a 6’2 bloke.
‘I wouldn’t go back to the course, especially now that magpies attack you!
‘I was absolutely astonished. I extended my hand, thinking, “I’m going to befriend a bird here, I can’t wait to show the kids,” and it definitely got the hump.
‘I must have been near its nest or
