Aston Villa has been linked with various offensive possibilities, including this 24-year-old who plays for Celtic.
Aston Villa are considering a move for Celtic’s Nicolas Kuhn in the January transfer window, as Unai Emery wants to add depth to his offensive options.
According to TBR Football, Villa are among many Premier League clubs ‘looking carefully’ at the 24-year-old, including Tottenham and Newcastle, with Celtic reportedly reluctant sellers.
However, the source says that a ‘big offer’ might drive the Scottish club to the bargaining table, as Kuhn has 25 goal contributions in 25 games this season. That includes 14 goals and 11 assists, the highlight of which being his Champions League brace against RB Leipzig.
TBR believes Celtic, who paid £3 million for him from Rapid Wien in January, could quadruple their investment in just a year. The German-born forward has previously played for Ajax and Bayern Munich, and his contract expires in four and a half years.
Villa have been connected with numerous offensive players since Moussa Diaby left in the summer. Leon Bailey, Jaden Philogene, Morgan Rogers, Emi Buendia, Jacob Ramsey, and John McGinn have all played out wide.
