Matheus Cunha: Wolves forward handed two-game ban and fined £80,000 by FA following Ipswich melee
Wolves forward Matheus Cunha was fined £80,000 and suspended for two games after the altercation that broke out
after full time in the match against Ipswich.
The FA charged the Brazil international for acting in a “improper manner” after Cunha got into a fight with an
Ipswich employee after the Premier League match on December 14.
The incident happened after Gary O’Neil’s penultimate game as Wolves’ manager ended with Jack Taylor scoring a
late winner for Ipswich, who are also struggling to survive in the Premier League.
Wolves are now 17th in the Premier League after winning four of their last 19 games.”Matheus Cunha has been fined

Town on Saturday, December 14, 2024,” the FA said in a statement.
“The forward was accused of misbehaving and of acting inappropriately following the final whistle. An independent
regulatory commission later issued the penalty after he acknowledged the charge.
Cunha will miss both Wolves’ FA Cup third-round trip to Bristol City the following Saturday and Monday’s Premier
League matchup with Nottingham Forest, which will be shown live on Sky Sports.
