Ambulance crashes while travelling to emergency
An ambulance its route to an emergency event collided with a car in Aberdeen on Sunday evening.
There were no significant casualties in the incident, which occurred at 19:35 on Ellon Road in Bridge of Don.
The ambulance was not carrying patients at the time. An alternative ambulance was dispatched to the original call.
According to a representative for the Scottish Ambulance Service, the crew members were unharmed, but the car’s driver was brought to the hospital as a precaution.
A representative for Police Scotland added: “There were no serious injuries reported, and the road was cleared around 21:15.”
