‘Agreement in place’ for Birmingham City and Sunderland transfer target
An deal has been reached for a Birmingham City and Sunderland target to transfer to Leeds United.
Leeds are apparently set to sign young Australian goalkeeper Robbie Cook ahead of Birmingham and Sunderland, with the transfer expected to be completed during the forthcoming January window.
Daniel Farke’s team is keen to strengthen their youth ranks in order to prepare for the future, notably in goal. Cook, only 17 years old, has been impressing at the academy level for Perth Glory in his home country.
Alan Nixon, formerly of The Sun, says on his Patreon page that Leeds have struck a full agreement to sign Cook. According to reports, Birmingham was very much in the battle, but the Championship outfit triumphed.
