Oli McBurnie has never wavered in his devotion to the Rangers, and he has even been connected to a move to Ibrox before.
After completing a summer transfer from Sheffield United, the former Scotland international striker is now at Las Palmas in La Liga.
He has made 16 appearances since joining the Canary Island team with former Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna.
But the 28-year-old has only scored twice in that time, so goals have been hard to come by.
Chris Wilder, the manager of Sheffield United, is reportedly thinking about trying to get him back to English football when the January transfer market opens, after he has been benched several times this past month.
McBurnie scored 29 goals in 159 games during his five seasons at Bramall Lane.
Last week, Burnley and Blackburn Rovers were also reported to have expressed interest in the striker.
