West Ham and Ipswich Town chasing player with PL experience – Manager claims he’s ‘close to leaving’ club

West Ham United and Ipswich Town are among the clubs scouting Galatasaray’s Hakim Ziyech ahead of the next window.

The Moroccan international has fallen out of favour with the Istanbul club and has expressed his desire to leave next month.

According to H24 Info, West Ham and Ipswich Town may consider signing the 31-year-old.

On Thursday, Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk hinted that the winger could be leaving the Turkish club.

“Hakim openly told us that he was not satisfied with the minutes he was receiving, and it is possible that he is in negotiations with other clubs. He is not happy because he is not getting regular playing time and we see that he is close to leaving the team,” he said.

Since the end of August, the former Chelsea player has played only 83 minutes in seven matches. According to the report, clubs are still interested in him.

Ziyech could return to England in January, with West Ham and Ipswich Town both interested in signing him. The outlet claims this is their own information, although it could have come from someone close to the athlete.

After losing his place in the national squad, the attacker may gain from a move to the Premier League.

Apart from West Ham and Ipswich Town, Stade Rennais is interested, and other reports have included Torino, Como, Venezia, Caligari, Girona, Real Sociedad, and Villarreal.
