Stoke City manager Narcis Pelach says his team should not feel sorry for themselves, despite their continued poor results on the pitch.
On Thursday night, the Spaniard spoke with LeedsLive after his team lost 2-0 to Leeds United at the bet365 Stadium.
The Potters have suffered during Pelach’s tenure, making a win over the Whites a daunting task.
This is not ideal for Stoke, who were struggling before their current manager took over in September.
Although they have had some high times, the Staffordshire side has also had many poor points, and they are currently at the bottom of the Championship.
It remains to be seen whether Jon Walters and other key figures at the bet365 Stadium will make a decision on Pelach soon, as the club faces relegation to League One.
Stoke may be reluctant to end Pelach’s tenure at the club too soon, but he has struggled, and Thursday’s defeat to Daniel Farke’s men has dropped them to 19th position.

Narcis Pelach issues message following Stoke City against Leeds United
Pelach remains optimistic that his players can break out of their current rut, despite the fact that the Potters have lost all nine league games in a row.
He told Leeds Live that losing games in football can lower confidence.
“We need to try to be tough and not feel sorry for ourselves.
“Things can change very quick but we have to believe that we can do it.”
Narcis Pelach has to improve the outcomes at Stoke City in the immediate future.
Pelach has had a terrible time while he has been in Staffordshire.
Even though he was only hired in September, if Stoke can’t escape the bottom three and enter the relegation zone, his time there will be coming to an end.
You have to question how long he has to make things better because he might even be fired before then.
Even if Thursday night’s loss came against a formidable Leeds team, Stoke’s quick decision to fire his predecessor, Steven Schumacher, is a major factor in Pelach’s current job anxiety.
