Offer made: Ipswich Town make first move to sign “fantastic” 22 y/o defender in January

Offer made: Ipswich Town make first move to sign “fantastic” 22 y/o defender in January.

Ipswich Town reportedly signed a “fantastic” player during the January transfer window.

Ipswich Town transfer rumours

The Tractor Boys have struggled in the Premier League this season, but have achieved outstanding wins, including a win away to Tottenham.Kieran McKenna’s side is in the relegation zone, and in order to have the best chance of avoiding relegation, additional signings may be required in January.

Ipswich have been linked with a deal for former Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech, who currently plays for Galatasaray. He is seeking for a way out of the Turkish club, and a move to Portman Road is considered possible.

McKenna is considering signing Emmanuel Latte Lath, a Middlesbrough striker, to strengthen his club.

However, Ipswich may lose crucial players in the near future, as Chelsea is reportedly interested in signing ace striker Liam Delap. Losing him would be a huge setback, and the hope is that he enjoys his football enough to stay put for now.

Ipswich Town make offer to sign “fantastic” player

According to journalist Gianluca Vitale on X, Ipswich Town has made an offer to sign RB Salzburg right-back Amar Dedic in January. Sporting CP and Napoli are also interested in signing him this year.

Amar Dedic gets closer to leaving Red Bull Salzburg. Sporting CP and Ipswich Town have both made offers for the Bosnian, who was recommended to Napoli last summer and wants to play for AC Milan. Fali Ramadani, the intermediary, is negotiating his transfer to a different league as early as January.”

The 22-year-old may be an exciting addition for the Tractor Boys, having established himself at a top level for a continuous length of time, with 93 games and 14 assists for Salzburg.

Dedic has 16 caps for Bosnia, underlining his international credentials. Football talent scout Jacek Kulig describes him as “fantastic”.

At 22, Dedic is still a young player who can only get better, so if Ipswich can beat out other large teams for his services, it might be a fantastic deal.

The fact that McKenna’s side is relegation-threatened is a concern, as the right-back may believe that joining another club would be more advantageous, but hopefully he sees the positives of joining the Tractor Boys instead.
