The home field of the EFL Championship team, Norwich City, is located at Carrow Road, a football stadium in Norwich, Norfolk, England. The stadium is located east of the city, close to the River Wensum and the Norwich train station.
Before relocating to The Nest, Norwich City played at Newmarket Road. The Carrow Road ground, named for the road it is situated on, was purpose-built by Norwich City in just 82 days after The Nest was judged insufficient for the volume of people it was drawing. It opened on August 31, 1935.

Additionally, Carrow Road has played host to several concerts, including ones featuring George Michael and Elton John, as well as under-21 international football. There are catering services and a Holiday Inn hotel with pitch-facing rooms at the Carrow Road location.
