Ipswich Town In With Offer For Defender, Another Club Also Bid.
Red Bull Salzburg has received an offer for one of its players from Premier League strugglers Ipswich Town.
Kieran McKenna has led the Tractor Boys to the highest division of English football this season, achieving back-to-back promotions in spectacular fashion.
Their main goal this season is to stay up, and the Tractor Boys management approved several acquisitions throughout the summer.
McKenna’s side, on the other hand, are second from bottom in the Premier League, having conceded 32 goals in just 16 games.
The January transfer window could be critical for them to make some key changes, and they are seeking for defenders.
Area Napoli reports that the Tractor Boys have made an offer for Amar Dedic, a 22-year-old right-back at RB Salzburg.
Even though the Bosnian’s current deal expires in 2027, it has been suggested that he would prefer to play for Serie A heavyweights AC Milan.
Sporting Lisbon has also made an offer, as has Ipswich Town; it remains to be seen whether either offer will be sufficient to persuade the Austrian club to release him.
His agent is seeking to send Dedic to another league, but it’s unclear whether that will happen in January.
