Everton eyeing striker compared to Edin Dzeko as The Friedkin Group’s first January signing

The Friedkin Group have now been handed the keys to Goodison Park with some glaring issues needing to be addressed.

Sean Dyche has been able to steady the ship in recent weeks with some promising draws against some of the top sides in the Premier League.

The Toffees are still not where they want to be after the summer transfer window failing to provide many upgrades – Iliman Ndiaye – aside to the starting XI.

And that is why The Friedkin Group are expected to invest in the January transfer market as Dyche is in need of some players capable of improving the 11 players who start the games.

Everton eyeing striker Tim Kleindienst in January

The Toffees have had some major issues up front this season and Everton could offload Beto in January with real interest coming from Serie A.

According to the German outlet Bild, Everton are one of the sides who are showing an interest in the Borussia Monchengladbach striker Tim Kleindienst.

However, the Friedkins are not the only Premier League side who are showing an interest in the Germany international with Wolves also on the scene.

Kleindienst only joined Gladbach in the summer after joining from 1. FC Heidenheim, but his impressive start in the Bundesliga has certainly caught the eye.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is receiving interest from Arsenal as his contract situation has failed to progress over the first half of the campaign.

But Dyche has failed to mix things up in attack, despite Calvert-Lewin’s struggles and the clear need for change in that position.

Tim Kleindienst likened to former Man City striker Edin Dzeko

The need for further attacking players was emphasised on Sunday with Iliman Ndiaye suffering a calf injury against Man City.

And Kleindienst is a player who would arrive on Merseyside next month on the back of a seriously impressive start to the campaign.
