Sheffield United, led by Chris Wilder, is once again battling for the top spot in the Championship.
The Blades have recovered well from their humiliating relegation from the top division the previous season, and they will be aiming for a return to the Premier League at the first opportunity.
Wilder has made no secret of his intention to bolster his team during the January transfer window, which will present an excellent opportunity to make some additional players.
As the takeover draws to a close, money will become available, and the team has already started looking to add Ben Brereton Díaz, a former attacker.
The Sun claims that the new owners are willing to pay for a new transfer for Southampton’s number 17, who spent the previous season playing for the Blades on loan from Villarreal.
After joining the Saints this summer, Brereton Díaz has only made four Premier League starts and has battled for consistent playing time.

Although Ivan Juric is rumored to be about to take over as Southampton’s head coach, it is thought that the attacker is not now part of the team’s plans.
In light of this interest, Football League World has made the decision to examine Brereton Díaz’s current St Mary’s salary in anticipation of a possible transfer to Bramall Lane.
After joining Southampton this summer, Brereton Diaz signed a four-year contract that paid him £35,000 per week. This adds up to £1,820,000 over the course of a season, so if he stayed with Saints for the duration of his contract, he would earn a whopping £7,280,000.
This is a reasonable median wage for Southampton, considering that players like Aaron Ramsdale and Jan Bednarek are said to make £120,000 and £70,000, respectively.
According to Capology, Brereton Díaz was making the same amount of money each week at Sheffield United as he does now at St Mary’s.
This is far more than the £5,692 he received every seven days at Blackburn Rovers.
If Brereton Diaz signs with the Blades, he might have to accept a pay reduction.
Given that his current Southampton contract would place him among Sheffield United’s highest earners, the 25-year-old might have to accept a pay cut if he were to join the Blades in January.
Harry Souttar, a central defender on loan from Leicester City, now earns the highest salary at £40,000 a week.
There are several players below that, including Vinícius Souza and Gustavo Hamer, two important midfielders who make £30,000 a week. With a total yearly salary of £22,82
If a permanent contract is reached, a pay drop might be required, but if it’s a loan, Southampton might pay a portion of his income.
8,000, Chris Wilder’s players make an average of £16,885 per week.
Although the Chilean would want a high salary due to his prior achievements in the league, it is debatable if he should be paid the same as players like Hamer and Souza.
