According to reports, the Nerazzurri wanted to sign the defender before he joined the Cherries and will now make one final attempt to do so.

Club president Beppe Marotta is willing to pay €25 million to Bournemouth, knowing that such a fee will allow them make a capital profit from Huijsen’s sale, while the centre-back cost only €15 million in the summer.
