Chris Wilder has some welcome selection quandaries for Sheffield United’s crucial Boxing Day meeting with Burnley, after Anel Ahmedhodzic and Vini Souza returned to the squad following injuries. However, Wilder may be missing Tyrese Campbell again due to a back ailment, and some of his players were ill prior to the weekend’s triumph at Cardiff.
Ahead of the game, we tasked our guy to walk into Wilder’s shoes and identify the team he believes will be sent out at Bramall Lane on Boxing Day. Is he on the right track, or would you make any changes?
1. Michael Cooper
Still to concede a goal at Bramall Lane since signing but that record will face another stiff test against the Clarets
2. Alfie Gilchrist
Decent again last time out and offered some offensive threat too with his deep cross leading to Moore’s stunning opener | Sportimage
3. Harry Souttar
One of the first names on the teamsheet at the minute – if he’s fit, then he plays
4. Jack Robinson
Having Anel Ahmedhodžić back again is a big boost but for me Robinson has done enough to keep the shirt, although it’s a great conundrum for Wilder to have
